Since I'm older and my feet have some damage, I'm slowly getting used to the shoes. Preferred in nature and less on asphalt.

A wonderfully made shoe that has withstood every rain so far. Only the soles of my feet are a bit cool. But your feet stay dry. Perfect! Thank you very much for that :)

Winter is still coming, I hope, so that the fur can work on the inside, so far everything has been fitting very well - which is already a lot!

The shoes are very beautiful and extremely comfortable! (The leather is VERY dark brown, almost black, which I find a bit of a shame). The quality of the material and workmanship is extremely good. The lambskin is very soft and warming. Will wear the shoes a lot!

Lightweight, but still very warm barefoot boots. Lots of room for your toes. The side zipper makes it much easier to put on and take off the boots.
All in all: Definitely recommended!

It took a few days of wearing with an extra pair of socks for both sides to be equally comfortable but now they fit wonderfully. I have tried two other pairs of Zaqq boots and found that they are too high volume for me generally but since this one has a shearling lining the fit is really good. I was happily surprised that they seem pretty water-resistant out of the box which isn't mentioned in the description. I'm not sure yet how long the sole will last, it looks like there may be a weak point where the toes bend, so far it's holding up. But I have only been wearing them for 6 weeks and a few hikes. Personally, I also like that there is a zipper in the new design, I can keep it open if my feet get too warm

Unfortunately the shoes delivered were too big so I had to return them. The return process went smoothly and very friendly.
I already have another one ZAQQ-Checked out the shoe model and am now waiting for it to be in stock in my size so I can order again. :)

I am so excited about these shoes! They look pretty, are so comfortable and warm! Of course, cold comes from the sole (over time, when standing) but with an additional pair of warm socks and/or a warming sole = optimal! I can't imagine it being any better! I only want shoes from Zaqq in the future! Thanks! :)

The toes can move easily, there is really toe freedom when running. The fur feels good. Runs great, the sole is pleasantly elastic!

QUINTIC Winter Brogue Dark Brown

The shoe is extremely comfortable and the material is of very good quality. Soft leather, thin sole, warm lining. After a long test phase, the product is still convincing. I have to deduct points because the product description, photos and previous reviews imply that the shoe comes without an inner zipper. That was exactly my main focus when buying shoes. Unfortunately the shoe came with a zipper and an explanation upon request, the new edition has a closure and the pictures are still old. There is no functional alternative for me and I would have to have the shoes sewn over by a saddler, which would void the warranty. Very unfortunate. And. The images have still not been renewed since my purchase in December 2022.

I still have the predecessor (identical except for the missing zipper) but still want to rate the shoes. The shoes are perfect for winter, wonderfully light and warm. The wearing comfort is fantastic, no complaints even when worn for longer periods (>14 hours). I had to go on a few hikes in the snow, some of it muddy... The leather absorbed a bit of water at the beginning (but the socks still stayed dry). After wearing and greasing several times, they are tight. And if you grease and brush them after drying, they still look like new. Over time, the lambskin becomes a little thinner in the areas that are subjected to high stress (logical). When the temperatures are very below zero, a few wool socks are still enough for me and my feet stay warm. In short: perfect winter shoes!

I haven't worn any other boots all fall and winter until now. I don't want to either. They have proven themselves both at work (a lot of standing) and on my hikes. My feet are never tired anymore, my back pain is gone and my feet essentially stay warm in these boots - which is nothing short of a miracle. Recommendation: if the boots get wet: be sure to dry them out really well, stuff them with newspaper or cloths, and then care for them with a high-quality, waterproofing shoe polish. Under no circumstances should you put it back on while it's still half damp, then the wetness will remain and be annoying.

This review is written after owning these shoes a few months. I wanted to wait with writing a review untill I've worn these shoes a lot of times so my opinion would actually be based on experience. I've ordered a custom made Quintic Dark Brown with waterproof coating. This shoe wasn't sold in this color as waterproof, hence my custom order. The communication about the order was very pleasant and I received the order faster than expected.
From a minimalist standpoint I wanted to use these shoes for multiple occasions. I wanted good hiking shoes that are waterproof and are warm enough in winter. But, I also wanted to be able to use these shoes for formal occasions. I'm happy to say these shoes have fulfilled all roles quite well. I've deliberately walked through puddles and they stayed dry inside. I must remind you that I had the waterproof coating so the 'normal' version of this shoe might be less waterproof. I've heard others say these shoes feel so comfy they kept wearing them all day. I felt the same. These feel like comfy house slippers, because of their winter padding inside. When I've had a formal meeting, I cleaned the dirt (from walking my dog ​​in muddy terrain) of the shoes and polished them a bit with a brush. And because of the 'broque' pattern on the nose of these shoes and the somewhat shiny surface, these shoes complimented my formal clothing quite nicely and I didn't look out of place with them, despite them having a wider toe box.
The only slight gripe I have is taking the shoes off. I have to maneuver and wiggle my feet and loden the laces before I can get my foot out. That's not a real bad thing but sometimes my foot is a bit stuck and it pulls out the winter padding a bit with it. I have to pull out my feet carefully because I expect otherwise the inner padding will eventually come loose. But as of now, the shoe still looks sturdy and well made. In hindsight I might have ordered one size larger and have gone with the broque-less version of these shoes, since I expected it would be easier to clean.
All in all I'm very pleased with these shoes and I would certainly order again at this webshop.

My 3rd pair of shoes from Zaqq. The other two are for spring through fall. Now I needed a shoe suitable for winter. Since I already had experience with lambskin on a conventional shoe, I decided on the QUINTIC Winter. Oh joy, it even has a zipper, which makes it extremely easy to put on. It's comfortable, runs great on all surfaces, nice and wide in the front foot area for optimal toe freedom. At around 0 degrees it got a bit cold on meadows and other natural surfaces, especially when I was standing. I was worried about freezing temperatures. Now I have put in an insole made of Lama Merino wool and I am completely satisfied. When the temperatures get positive again, I'll take the insole out again. I always have nice, warm feet on 2-hour hikes. I would definitely buy these shoes again.

I've had the QUINTIC Winter shoes for a few weeks now and I'm in love with them! For the first time in many, many years, I experience a feeling of happiness in my feet: they can spread at the front of the shoe, something I NEVER could with my wide feet. Even when I feel too lazy to go for a walk, the shoes now often draw me outside because the feeling of walking on soft moss in these super comfortable boots is a new pleasure that my feet want to have again and again. And I am NOT exaggerating.
Aside from this inner comfort, the shoes are made from wonderfully soft leather lined with real fur. You rarely get this quality, including handcraft, for a relatively low price! Especially when you consider that everything is made in Germany.

IT'S A DREAM!!!
It's not the first pair I've bought. However, I've been thinking about it for too long...
I have serious issues with my feet. Constant pain, despite good branded shoes etc. For me it's the price that makes me hesitate. Now the first big lap (15km) with my winter shoes is a thing of the past and I'm super happy. With any other shoe I would have pain somewhere. If it weren't so dark, I could go one step further!
For me it is clear that if shoes are to be worn then only barefoot shoes!
I listened to the previous speaker and took my actual shoe size 38 and that's great.
My spring shoes are size 39.

The boots are very stylish and easy to care for, have plenty of toe room. Originally they were only intended for everyday use. Since I found my old snow boots uncomfortable after 9 months of wearing barefoot shoes, they had to complete a 3-hour walk through snow and mud and they did a great job. The feet stayed warm and dry. The sole showed good grip on slippery surfaces. I am thrilled with these boots that are so versatile.

For the first time I decided to wear barefoot shoes. My physical needs forced me to rethink and I recognized my shoe or foot problem behind it. Well, a fantastic material coupled with a fantastic feeling and wearing comfort now accompany me through the day. The inner fur is wonderfully soft, short, dense and warm. My foot length is 26 cm and the shoe size that fits here is 42, which seems a bit too large for me. Well, maybe my feet need to get used to this comfort too. I often had cold feet in the evenings after the office. Everyday life, now a thing of the past, I go to bed with nice, relaxed and warm feet. My thoughts are about which shoe I could probably get for home...as a slipper. So in a nutshell, highly recommended.
