Unfortunately it is only available in a winter version. I would be very happy if it could also be made for summer.

For me, this shoe is the perfect link between the leather-lined ARQ and the lambskin-lined QUINTIC Winter Brogue that I bought last season. The delivery took place in no time (only two days = minimum delivery time from D to A) and the visually very elegant shoe fits perfectly on my long (size 48) but narrow foot thanks to the lining. I also find it very pleasing that even shoes of this size can be very light in weight. Because of this and also because of the feeling of being barefoot, I have the impression of slippers rather than street shoes. Thumbs up for the developers of this shoe - and for the perfect service from ZAQQ!

These shoes are the most comfortable and pleasant thing I have ever worn. It couldn't be any softer. Also in the heel area, where I always have problems. I wear them to the office on cold fall days or in winter because I need a little extra lining for extreme cold. That's why I have the QUINTIC. I have now bought both models again after many years. I'm looking forward to the cold season with this!

Like all my ZAQQs, I love my new prequels. They are easy to put on and are wonderfully comfortable and warm.

Very comfortable and warm

I got the Prequel Winter made of nappa in black to have a stylish shoe that keeps my feet cozy and warm even when I'm sitting in a not-so-warm office in the winter.
They look very chic and the leather is wonderfully soft and feels great on the foot.
In the rain or on damp surfaces (cobblestones, for example), the sole also provides good grip and a secure step.
I'm a little disappointed with the "warmth performance", I had hoped for more from the shoes because of the lambskin lining. When I'm just sitting, my feet feel a bit clammy and cool at the end of the day, especially around the toes. (Perhaps I haven't found the right way to handle it yet?) And when temperatures are approaching frost, the cold when you're out and about gets into the shoe from below, so you'd have to add an extra insole.

Conclusion for me:
Maybe something for the transitional period or when I can accept that my feet won't stay at a comfortable temperature.
Definitely something for occasions where I want/should wear really chic shoes!

I was relieved when I tried the slightly smaller shoe after returning it: it fits, gives you the same barefoot feeling as usual, is warm and also looks good with a suit: and the most important thing: the shoes don't have hiking soles, there isn't half as much mud that can get stuck in and dirty your trouser legs - and they're still non-slip. Everything fine!

The prequel is like a second skin and I don't want to take it off again. This model fits my “normal” shoe size (40) like a glove. The length is sufficient and the shoe is not too wide for my very narrow feet. Barefoot feeling and warmth are great (although I haven't been able to try it in winter yet). The height of the shaft is also well chosen; This means there is no pulling on the ankle and at the same time getting started is child's play. What can I say: If you don't have this shoe yet, you're missing out. Keep it up! Also available in other colors.

You don't feel like you're wearing shoes, but the feeling of running is wonderful. The flexibility of the sole allows the foot to swing with the ground. The freedom of the feet ensures optimal blood circulation, which gives a pleasantly warm feeling. Added to this is the lightness and good workmanship. There is one disadvantage: you don't want to wear other shoes anymore because you suddenly feel like they're all kind of tight. Thank you

I have had and worn these shoes for about 5 years now in the transitional period in winter (with extra wool socks, the lining is not enough for me).
The longevity of the shoes - despite little to no care on my part and high wearing frequency - is impressive!

The shoes are super comfortable. I don't think I've ever worn such comfortable shoes before. And it's already the first time. I'm totally thrilled.

This is my third ZAQQ Shoe! Ordered and put on immediately. Comfortable and warm. Finally I can wear barefoot shoes in winter without getting icy feet!

What do I do with my normal shoes now? ;) I have at ZAQQ I have now bought my third pair of barefoot shoes and this pair is also completely convincing. They are warm and you don't need to break them in. I definitely recommend these shoes!

The shoe is very simple and I have a feeling when wearing it, between barefoot, sneakers or slippers - almost nothing; but he is warm and cozy - wonderful!

These shoes are very comfortable. Despite being lined, it's not uncomfortably warm, your feet don't sweat. You can wear it for any occasion. My normal size fits perfectly and I wouldn't give it up.

The Prequels are my very first barefoot shoes.
They keep you nice and warm and are super soft on the inside. The shoe itself is surprisingly light, which I like. I always have foot pain in normal shoes, but in these shoes I can finally walk without pain - even longer distances :)
I can recommend this shoe 100%.
