I'm on the salt path in Cornwall with these shoes and it's raining a lot. So far, the hiking boots are waterproof, cozy and warm and super comfortable - even after 20 km a day you won't want to take them off.

It's the second time this shoe has come into my life. I love the colors, shape, comfort and durability. I hope and look forward to a long time together. We will experience a lot together!!!

After my old outdoor shoes died, something new and foot-friendly was needed.
I usually wear size 40, have wide feet and a high instep. Here I hit the front with the 40, but the 41 fits perfectly. Personally, I find the laces a bit long, but that's a matter of taste.

I now have 11 pairs ZAQQ Shoes. Everyone is unique! The sizes always fit. Each shoe fully fulfilled its function. The quality of the material has always been excellent. I haven't bought shoes from any other company in 7 years.

My first pair of ZAQQ - I was looking for a waterproof barefoot shoe because I spend a lot of time walking in the forest with our dog and after a very short break-in period I am very impressed! Comfortable, really waterproof and look good too. The workmanship is also very good and you can get the right size straight away thanks to the size finder. Clear recommendation and definitely not my last pair!

Hiking has never been as great as with these shoes! Finally no more foot pain! Comfortable, waterproof, very light. I love her.

HIQE Mid Turquoise Waterproof

...but given the price range I would have expected higher quality laces. They're very stiff and bad at acting. I swapped them for elastic ones, which also makes it easier to put on and take off. I haven't been able to test whether they are really waterproof, but they are definitely comfortable.

I love the HIQE models. I like to wear them hiking - in all temperatures! Without an insert they are perfect for warm days and with an insert they are perfect for snow hikes in Switzerland. I really needed a waterproof shoe because I was tired of constantly wet feet. I ordered the HIQE Mid Turquoise Waterproof 41 because I like the look of it. However, the model is not compatible with my straight heel shape. The reason for this is what I find to be a stiff insert in the heel area, which is supposed to give the shoe stability for hiking. I can never get along with a shoe that has a reinforcement insert on the heel. I sent the shoe back and ordered the TREQ RED, which has a more flexible and softer heel. The HIQE Mid is well made and looks good on the foot. It offers enough space in the forefoot.

The shoes are my new favorite shoes! They're super comfortable, keep your feet dry and warm, and look great. I chose the size according to the recommendation and they fit great.

I'm very happy with the shoe, but the insole (without which the shoe is really too voluminous for me) always slips backwards and forwards when you step over it with your toes. The length of the shoe is not too long, fits exactly. Has anyone had the same problem and perhaps found a solution for it?

The shoe is chic, comfortable and well made. I have now worn it on a 20 km hiking tour on various surfaces (forest floor, roots, gravel, clay, stone) and am absolutely thrilled. The shoe provides support and does not slip. You don't get heavy feet. The feet have “leeway”. The shoe can also be worn with thicker hiking socks. No pressure points, no blisters, no chafed areas.

Stress test passed! I crossed the Stone Sea in Berchtesgaden with my Zaqq. 3 days, lots of stones, different surfaces and even snow. The stones could be felt, but not unpleasant. No bubble, no abrasion. The only weakness is that it's easier to slip on snow than with a thick tread.

A great shoe: comfortable, light, simply wonderful. Well crafted. There is no need to break in like with normal hiking boots. The foot has enough space. I only walk in barefoot shoes ZAQQ.

These are my second barefoot shoes after the Qatch Winter Black boots because I was very impressed with the boots. Again, no rubbing and no bubbles. I determined the shoe size using the Zaqq size finder and it fits perfectly. The delivery was quick and easy, and I have no complaints about the quality of the workmanship. It would also be interesting to know whether you can also buy these shoelaces in matching colors? I don't have any experience with waterproofing, as I've been wearing these shoes as everyday shoes for a month now, but I'm still thrilled and my feet have always been warm at 0 to 10°C.

I wear the shoes all the time in my free time, in the city, over hill and dale... always comfortable, always dry and, especially in sub-zero temperatures, always warm feet! I just ordered a second pair, different model, and will definitely come back often for other shoes!

Perfect shoes for cool, dingy weather. I actually wear them every day at the moment. Never had cold or wet feet. 7 mile shoes. I'm thrilled!

This pair is already my second pair of HIQE mid. The first is one size smaller, for shorter distances. Based on my experience with the first pair, I bought these for long distances (hence a size larger). Overall, I'm thrilled! Compared to the “old” pair, improvements have been made here. The old shoe had a flat seam in the back area perpendicular to the heel. This could get uncomfortable without hiking socks. This disappeared with the new shoes. Otherwise, they are waterproof, breathable and keep you warm even in winter. Nevertheless, they are easy to wear - especially without an insole - even in summer without sweaty feet. For me the perfect shoe that will soon be taken on pilgrimages thanks to its low weight.
