BRIQ Black

Our BRIQ Black is our noble business shoe and the plainest of the range. It does without any decorative stitching or broguing, which makes it absolutely timeless. Nevertheless, it is still as elegant.

We used a classic derby shoe as a model for our BRIQs. We took the main elements from the original and manufactured them on our barefoot lasts. The result is the shell of a noble business shoe with the filling of a comfortable barefoot shoe.

The sole is absolutely unique in the world of barefoot shoes. As with all our ZAQQs, it has no heel and is absolutely flexible. However, a sole with a heel looks just that little bit more elegant - and we wanted maximum elegance for our business shoes. After a lot of pondering and fiddling, we managed to create an optical illusion. We cut out a wedge-shaped part and thus conjured up a heel in the sole that doesn't actually exist.

Thanks to the timeless, simple design, you can combine our BRIQ Black with all outfits. It is your companion for the office and for all festive occasions.

Good quality shoes with lovely soft leather. Look very formal, nobody has noticed that they are minimalist shoes. I bought them slightly too large, so they are a bit too long and have too much volume in the mid foot, but I just wear two pairs of socks which makes them nice and snug. Would recommend these shoes.

Absolutely suit-suitable, elegant and extremely comfortable shoe.
The feeling is not like wearing socks like some other barefoot shoes. Nevertheless, my gait automatically switched to ball walking. Since the "thick sole" is only external cosmetics, you have enough space in the shoe to play with your toes without being noticeable from the outside.
My first, but definitely not my last, shoe from Zaqq.

The shoe exceeded my expectations! It doesn't look like a barefoot shoe, it has this optical heel that isn't and it's super comfortable. Perfect for wearing with a suit without getting sore feet.

First impression: great!

The shoes arrived today. The size fits and is consistent with other minimalist shoe manufacturers. The build quality is excellent at first glance. The shoe is very flexible (both leather and sole) and light and looks great.
I have already tried many pairs from other manufacturers. I find my first pair of Zaqqs to be very convincing both visually and in terms of quality. I think it won't be my last pair.
