This barefoot shoe is unbeatable in terms of functionality. EXPEQ is designed to be particularly robust and durable. It starts with the waxed leather itself. It not only looks particularly high-quality, but is also extremely resistant. And not only that, the waxed surface also makes this outdoor shoe waterproof.
The barefoot shoe was stitched to the sole by hand using a strobel seam. The thin and flexible rubber sole can therefore never come loose, even under the highest stress, as it does with glued models from competitors.

- Lining: waterproof, breathable and windproof ZAQQ membrane
- Sole: ultra-flexible, non-slip, abrasion-proof rubber, 3,9mm (0.15 Inch)

The shoes have already endured 2 mega hikes (80 and 100km) with me and withstood several other hikes without significant signs of wear. Thanks to the comfortable shoes, blisters are also no longer an issue. Clear recommendation from me!

My father says he can freely frolic in the garden.
The first pair of EXPEQ BASH had also proven themselves in extreme situations such as ice, snow, and mud. Among other things, they had to endure everything in dog sports and cross-country training (my feet hurt in rubber boots!) Until they became leaky after more than 3 years, the inner lining was worn out, and the seams came apart. Now I have the 2nd pair of EXPEQ BASH. In between, there were vegan versions of other models, but they did not convince me.
Only with the shoe size, which always (!) has to be chosen one size larger, is it sometimes borderline since the models are very generously sized.
I ordered a second pair because I love them!!! It's a pity that the shoe is not available in a full leather version for summer; I would buy it immediately!!!

Completely satisfied. Good quality of the shoes. They look somewhat more vintage in the pictures, but I think that will also be the case in use.
The EXPEQ Bash Waterproof shoes are super well made! Visually, however, they come out differently than they appear in the photos. The intentional scuffing on the leather is very light / white. The contrast is therefore very strong. I would prefer the shoes without scuffing. Therefore, one star less.
Super comfortable, I can't say anything about waterproofing yet
Hiked the Camino de Santiago with these shoes. About 25 km daily, in heavy rain. The shoes got wet – but so did everyone else's. But inside, it was warm. The constant wetness did not bother the shoes, no damage. Most importantly: as the only hikers, we had no blisters and our feet felt great the entire time.
Super shoe, excellently made and delivered quickly.
My Bash replaced defective Q2 Cognac (simply great customer service!!!) and after 1 month of daily use on field and gravel paths (3-5 km), in mud, in snow, in rain, I am super satisfied. I said goodbye to the insole after the first day and never regretted it. In the meantime, I also jog with them from time to time. Very comfortable, great ground contact, no slipping of socks, completely dry and not too warm. I experience all facets of the terrain, just as it should be with barefoot shoes. I am thrilled!!
I've had the shoe for about 3 years, for hiking, riding and also for the city. It's super comfortable and the sole can withstand a lot. Although I had to have the cobbler retighten the seam on the bales twice, I also spent a lot of time walking in the scree. The only real drawback is that the insole constantly slips. Therefore two points deducted.
This shoe was my first Zaqq shoe. I was excited from the start. So beautifully soft and so beautifully warm. I would always buy them.

This shoe is a dream. Your feet feel like they're resting on pillows. I will never wear anything but barefoot shoes again!
Because I have only had the best experiences with it for 12 months zaqq Since I used shoes in everyday life, I also wanted to have hiking boots. The quality is excellent. I've never had more comfortable hiking shoes than anyone else zaqq I wear size 40 shoes, but size 41 is optimal for this shoe.
