The people behind Zaqq
Matthias (Diplom Kaufmann, ZAQQ founder) studied international management and business administration at the Dublin Institute of Technology and the University of Leipzig. Since he wore barefoot shoes for the first time a few years ago, he was thrilled. Matthias develops the shoe models together with Michael and organizes purchasing and marketing.
André (Diplom Betriebswirt, ZAQQ founder) studied at the FH Worms trade management and at the TU Dresden industrial engineering. His love for barefoot shoes started many years ago. André takes care of the production processes, the quality controls and our heavy device.
Christiane (diploma librarian and diploma business informatist) lovingly takes care of all customer inquiries - both by phone and by email. It leads the order processing and the shipping of the shoes. Do you have any questions about our shoes? She knows everything.
Helena (merchant masters) learned the shoe production from the pike. With a lot of professional experience and craftsmanship, you can sew our ZAQQ shoes incredibly quickly and with perfect quality.
Andreas is our IT expert. He takes care of the administration and further development of our online shop system.
Michael is a trained graphic designer. For him, it was completely new territory to design shoe soles and draw shoe models. But he survived. We developed 16 variants of our shoe sole with him before we were all satisfied and felt: that's the perfect one!
