design
ZAQQ barefoot shoes are simply the most beautiful shape barefoot. Our claim is to skilfully stage the extraordinary, unique properties of our ZAQQ barefoot shoes through an outstanding and innovative design.
We know that the design plays a crucial role, because "well -being" begins in the head, long before your feet feel the soft leather and the luxury of freedom of movement for the first time.
Our outstanding and simple design plays with the ease of modern life. Double seams summarize stylishly and absolutely accurately process the best possible materials. The openly lying strobe seam inside the shoe enables a view of manual perfection and at the same time serves as a moving, stylish contrast to the smooth leather side of your ZAQQ barefoot shoe, because we do not get over with superficialities, our design goes through the design of the inner shoe up to the sole .
Inside is the same on the outside, on the outside is the same inside. The use of the finest velor, barrel -stored nappa leather and high -quality vegan materials get ZAQQ barefoot models a unique appearance. We skillfully play with the two sides of the materials, in combination with the extraordinary cuts not only for your feet but also for your eyes an experience and an absolute exception.
construction
Your feet are a miracle of nature and perfectly trained within millions of years of evolution. Muscles, bones, joints, fascia and tendons form a complex, networked system which is incredibly flexible and sensitive.
Why do we tell you that? Because your new ZAQQ has been constructed for your feet and your well -being.
A front shoe with a large volume gives your bale and your toe tips the space you need in order to be able to extend into all directions with every step. A completely flat sole with zero heel and without spreading your ankles keeps your ankle and prevents painful malpositions of your entire body. A slight damping in the sole construction protects your joints and guarantees the incomparable, light ZAQQ running feeling.
Take a closer look at your new Zaqq barefoot shoes. Do you see how accurately the seams run? Inside the shoe you can see the strobe seam that connects the underside of the shoe to the top. We deliberately did not hide this seam under an inner lining, because you should also show manual perfection. Here you can see traditional art of shoemaker, which makes up the unique charm of every Zaqq barefoot shoe.
We focused on the essentials when designing the ZAQQ barefoot shoes. You can see this from a unique and smooth lacing that supports the foot and still does not constrict, the extensive waiver of metal eyelets that disturb the look, a cap in the rear part which gives stability to the shoe and prevents pressure points or bubbles when wearing or, for example, a small tab on the back cap that makes it easier to wear.
In a Zaqq barefoot shoe, no insole* is bothered by the comfort. Thus, sweaty feet belong to the past, because leather is a natural product, breathes and transports sweat from the shoe outwards, for a comfortable wearing and healthy foot climate.
As you can see, we have incorporated many ideas and innovations into your new ZAQQ barefoot shoes to give you a special experience - the typical light ZAQQ running feeling. By the way, we not only build the most beautiful but also one of the lightest barefoot shoes for you. With a weight of approx. 200 g you will almost not feel your new Zaqq barefoot shoes.
Leather
In our manufactory we have all the possibilities to cut leather and vegan materials in the required size. A distinction is made between handcase and machine cut.
The handcase is more interesting and preferred with us. Of course, modern laser cutting tables or water cutting systems can work much more effectively and faster, but no machine replaces the human eye and the decades of experience in dealing with leather.
Therefore, a template of the required parts is placed on the leather during the handcase, marked with a leather pen and then cut out with a special knife. The art consists of positioning the leather and the template in such a way, the deformation and damage to the dermis and not processed in the visible area.
In addition, each dermis has two different directions. This means that depending on which direction the leather is cut out, there are later areas that can be stretched more on the shoe than others. Your ZAQQ barefoot shoes should be stretched more into the width than in length. In addition, the start should not be too stretchy so that it keeps its shape and the shoe still sits perfectly on the foot even after years.
As you can see, it alone is an art to cut the leather in the right size and shape. Another advantage of the handcase, we can build smaller series for you or develop your individual ZAQQ barefoot shoe.
Afford
It is a widespread mistake that all people have the same foot shape. Women's feet differ significantly from men's feet in some points. A female foot is, for example, completely different, because women have a narrower heel and a wider forefoot in relation to men. You can easily measure that at home. If you were simply reduced and sell a men's shoe as a women's shoe, it would be a little too narrow in the front area and a little too far on the heel. In order to build really comfortable and suitable shoes, you need different strips.
A strip is a wooden or plastic form and is required for the production of a shoe, because it forms the shape of the foot. Ultimately, a shoe model is then developed based on this form.
The strips are the heart, the soul of every shoe. If the strips are not developed conscientiously and adapted to the foot, the finished shoe can never be made comfortably and precisely.
Almost all manufacturers use a combination strips, i.e. a uniform strips for men and women, because of course it is much easier to manufacture and save a lot of money and time in development. The result, however, is shoes that neither fit with a man nor a woman and of course have to be "run in", that is, the material must first give in to the places where the shoe presses to adapt to the shape of the foot. Tips from the manufacturer such as "sticking a patch", "get the shoe wet" or "a shoe must first be run in" should then deceive the poor fit and maximization of the manufacturer's profit maximization. Quality looks different in our eyes.
We therefore took a lot of time and each developed a separate strips for men, one for women and one for children. The advantage for you, your new ZAQQ barefoot shoes do not have to be run in and sit perfectly from the box on your foot, for your well -being and the inimitable ZAQQ running feeling.
You are welcome to visit us, we will then explain the difference to you and show you our strips. Transparency ensures quality, a principle that we implement every day.
Sew
The leather parts cut out in the previous operation must now be connected to each other in the corresponding order. The top of your new Zaqq barefoot shoe, also called shaft, is created by sewing all individual parts together.
Everyone who has tried to sew something before knows that this work does not work on its own either. To sew the right seam, planning and choosing the right materials are required. In order for an optimal seam to arise, the right needle, the right thread, the optimal sewing technology and of course the right machine are required.
Not only the needle and the thread have to be chosen correctly, the design of a seam is also very different. Depending on whether there is a zigzag suture, a kettel seam, a double seam or a decorative seam, our manufactory has the right and specialized sewing machine for every seam, because only extraordinary products can occur with perfect work requirements.
Stobilize
The "strobble" represents a procedure for sewing a shoe, which is created for our flexible ZAQQ barefoot shoes. In contrast to other types of production, the insertion of joint stiffening can be dispensed with. Another advantage of this design, neither the flushing, uneven areas or hard edges and the volume of the inner shoe can be used.
You ultimately feel this with your new ZAQQ barefoot shoes every step, because this gives all ZAQQ barefoot shoes their almost limitless flexibility and convenience.
You can put your new ZAQQ barefoot shoes together, wound, turn and crumple, and your ZAQQ does not resent your ZAQQ due to the sophisticated design.
Just take a closer look at your new ZAQQ. Inside you see the strobe seam very clearly, which connects the lower part of your barefoot shoe with the upper shaft. Note how even and accurately this seam is carried out. Here you can see the real manual skill of our employees. Why should we hide something beautiful and high quality under an inner sole?
If a shoe literally "fits like a glove", then it is often due to its strobel.
The word "Strobeln" comes from the company, which invented this special sewing machine for shoes, the strobel machine. However, you cannot compare a strobel machine with a normal sewing machine because it works fundamentally differently. A strobel machine connects two parts in a very unusual way. A needle sticks the thread through both leather parts. On the other hand, a small hook takes up the thread and leads it over the leather edge back to the front where the needle grasps the thread and stings again through the leather. Thus, the loop is strung together around the loop until the shoe was finally completely circled. In order to really accurate a shoe, a lot of manual skill and experience is necessary, because the smooth lower part of the shoe must be connected to the much larger top.
Shape
Barefoot shoes that leave our manufactory mainly wear the ZAQQ lettering on the inner sole.
We also use an extraordinary solution for this lettering. For high -quality workmanship and a special look, these lettering is permanently shaped into the leather or vegan materials in a complex procedure with a hot front stamp.
As the name suggests, a brass stamp is heated to a temperature of exactly 180 ° Celsius and then pressed into the leather piece with the help of a press. Here it depends on the right pressure and the exact time frame to achieve a really perfect result. The lettering is shaped into the material and still keeps its shape even after years.
The advantage over transfer stamps or simple dyes, the motif cannot be slowly removed by mechanical action. A shoe that was once with the ZAQQ logo remains a real ZAQQ barefoot shoe all his life.
As you can see, your new ZAQQ barefoot shoes are really thought out down to the last detail and a real unique.
Glue the sole and die*
One of the last, yet most difficult work steps is sewing the sole. There are also highly developed machines for this.
We had to test very long to find the most sustainable and high quality variant.
Sewing the sole also consists of many individual, sophisticated work. The shaft must be prepared accordingly at the glue points. To do this, each shaft is taped by hand with adhesive tape and then carefully roughened the material. The complete sole is also roughened at the adhesive surface to make an optimal connection with the adhesive.
In the following, the sole is carefully pulled onto the shaft by hand and placed in the sole press. Here, on one side, a rubber cushion filled with air and on the other side, a bale and heel shape piece collects under high pressure. In this way, the rubber cushion can lay completely around the sole and stick it up exactly.
The right measure is crucial. If too much glue has been applied, it is pressed out on the edges, with too little glue the sole will not find a real hold. If the press is set too high, the shaft or sole can be damaged. You see, a sole gluing sounds easier than it really is.
This is also the reason why we have not spared any costs and efforts and decided on our own manufacture, because this is the only way we can guarantee that every shoe is manufactured with the same dedication and passion with which we have developed it.
After gluing, the ZAQQ sole is still sewn. An old wisdom of shoemaker states that a seam can be replaced by nothing than by an even stronger seam. Of course, modern adhesives are able to connect a sole to a shaft. However, there is always the possibility that the adhesive connection dissolves over time in particularly stressed areas. Here only one suture permanently remedies. For this reason, a hand -sewn sole stands for the highest quality standards and underlines the peculiarity of your new ZAQQ barefoot shoes. Many manufacturers know this and therefore imitate a seam of their shoes around the customer to pretend higher quality. However, we at ZAQQ love quality and do not be satisfied with half things.
